Robert H. Akers a 2004 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law has joined the law firm of Guthrie & Thomas in Charleston.  Mr. Akers has five years of litigation experience having handled a large number of civil defense cases in several areas including coal related injury cases, mass tort litigation, products liability, deliberate intent and wrongful death actions.

Rob is a member of the West Virginia State Bar, the Defense Research Institute and the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia.  He was captain of the Colgate University Men’s Basketball Team.
